"New York’s Museum of Modern Art will present an exhibition of the art from director Tim Burton’s career, beginning November 22, 2009, through April 26, 2010. This event also coincides with The Art of Tim Burton book.
"The exhibition will be on view from November 22, 2009, through April 26, 2010. Included are over 700 little-known drawings, paintings, and sculptures created in the spirit of contemporary Pop Surrealism, as well as work generated during the conception and production of his films, such as original The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride puppets; Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, and Sleepy Hollow costumes; and even severed-head props from Mars Attacks! "
Batman & Returns will also be screened.
Soon to be released is The Art of Tim Burton in hardback and limited edition books. Featuring 1,000 drawings over 400 pages with some of them Batman orientated!
According to timburtoncollective.com the book will be released in the Fall of 2009.
